What do you do on a day-to-day basis at your job?
My day consists of prospecting for new business opportunities among the various industries that Label Innovation (LINC) services, including the medical, security, technology and industrial manufacturing markets. I work with current and potential clients, where my main priority is to ensure their specifications and requirements are met for each project from start to finish.
How did you arrive at your current position? What was your professional or career path?
I have 15 years of sales experience and have always been interested in taking on new challenges. Prior to my work at LINC, I was an Account Executive in Canadian telecommunications for 7 years, servicing our Canadian-based customers. At LINC we work with companies across the globe.
What is the best part about your job?
I get to work on new projects with little-to-no production precedent where I help advance products and processes from inception to completion.

The job
Requirements
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Communications with 2 years experience in a quota carrying position. I’m also experienced with cold calling and emailing outreach. I possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, which has helped me with the technical aspects of this position. My strong time management and organization skills have been an asset to the team here as well
Skills
Excellent interpersonal capability coupled with an ability to prioritize different projects and stay on schedule has been helpful at LINC. Creativity, reading and understanding technical drawings, accuracy and attention to detail are additional skills that have served me well in my role here.
